This week has been utter madness in the office as I’ve been finalising the print work for the fashion show programme I’ve been working on. The photo shoot had to be postponed because of the weather, then my boss spooked our client and we had to cancel all the models we had arranged!
So, with a little over 24 hours, we had to arrange new models, clothes to fit them, make-up artists, rearrange studio time and get the photos in to the programme in time to meet the printers deadline the following day!
Luckily it all went brilliantly - and I’d be rude not to send big thanks to everyone who helped me pull it all together. First thanks to Cammy for setting up the shoot and getting some fantastic images to work with, to James and John in the office for helping with making calls to the people that matter, Deborah at the clients end for helping sort a lot of the make-up artists and other details. Big thanks to Erin, Katherine, Step and Carla for modelling it all at short notice and for their patience. Thanks to Penny Gillies and all the make up artists from Coatbridge College for giving up their time and expertise and finally to David Peace and everyone at the Summerlee studio for the use of the place. It really is a great facility, for any photographers out there looking for a studio out-with Glasgow.
Below I’ve posted the centre page of the brochure and a poster that use the images taken on Thursdays shoot. I’d like to have spent more time on the montage piece but time was really pressed, I worked till 5am on Thursday to get as much done as possible. I’m delighted with the 4 centre images though, they are exactly what I wanted them to be, again big thanks to Cammy for getting the lighting and photography spot on.
