New Photos

I’ve been working on a few new photo shoots in the last few weeks, so I thought I’d post a few pics.

New Logo

My logo redesign was always a rush job to get something up sooner rather than later but as I approach spending a lot of time and money on business cards and posters featuring it, I’m now spending a bit of time cleaning it up.

New Stuff

I’m currently working on some new self-promotional materials including a mailer and business cards but also my main site (this is meant to be a small blog, not the whole site!) and updates to all my networking sites (Flickr, Behance etc) to include my work. Currently I’m sifting through 5 years worth of projects trying to sort the good, the bad and the ugly.

As you may, or may not, know I have ceased the trading name I was using (fcad.it). At this stage I’m not ready to start a business as such, I just want to work freelance for agencies and clients directly, I see no point in using anything other than my given name for that! There is nothing to see at the moment but I will update this post as things start happening, I just thought I’d let folk who may visit that this is by no means the finished article!

A New Addition to the Family

I just took possession of my latest toy - the Wacom intuos4L. My boss got it for the office as a replacement for stupidly large Intuos2 A4 Oversized that has gone missing. Still setting it up and getting used to it but it is a very nice piece of kit.

It completes my desktop worforce. The wireless keyboard and mouse sit on the bench when the Wacom takes the stage but my Logitech G-13 (known affectionately as “The Claw”) is the perfect partner for it. I can setup presets and shortcuts to the Wacom side panel but the claw allows my left hand to access at least 22 shortcuts easily, also it can be assigned to macros and a whole load of other things. Plus the wee joystick can be used to navigate around a Photoshop document while using the Wacom. Seamless efficiency!

It’s geeky I know, but just look out awesome they all together! More pics after the jump…

Foreign commentators are the best, but this guy is truly awesome! To be fair, his reaction is only slightly more understated than my own after watching Saturday nights thrilling match twixt the Mighty Inter and Siena!
